I grew up in an area that does not have religious diversity. Ain’t no Catholic churches in the county. Ain’t no mosques or synagogues in the county.

There was ONE Catholic person (white) in my entire school and her family had to travel to an adjacent county to attend church.

The Real World has sent out some real pieces of shit, but that Kyle is a decent one.

Kyle also has a great rant about athletes needing to correct people when journalists mispronounce their name.

Burchett is right: the most DC thing ever *is* a member of Congress blaming the city for something he and his colleagues did themselves.

A lot of it is wrapped up in stereotypes, which we see much more plainly as they get older and are openly fetishized.

You don’t even have to be seeking their validation, white folks just give you “cool points” because you’re a Black boy or man.

That doesn’t mean they won’t lynch you or do a racism against you, it’s just when given the choice between who to “accept”…

I’m glad you posted this because this is exactly where my mind goes during these discussions: Black boys and men and the “cool points” they get from white people.

Whewwwwwww. The answer is no. We can’t even get Black men as a collective to condemn a man who killed his own family just because he was a college grad and frat brother

I don’t think it’s lavender if they don’t know 😩

Countee’s best man was beautiful though. Every time I see a pic of him I’m like I see, I see.
