Spent a lot of tonight watching The Chair Company and what a bizzarely compelling show that is.

Kinda can't look away.

Yeah hard REALLY scratched the itch.

The DLC, with the exception of bosses, was kinda really bad? It's the weakest part of the game, easily. I was really disappointed that the stages were just generic levels filled with random guys. No themed stages or enemies.

The bosses though - very very good!

A Shinobi: Art of Vengence file select screen with stats for a normal playthrough done in 3:44:52 with 40% completion and a hardcore playthrough in 18:02:16 with 136% completion.

Did a victory lap on normal to see how quickly I could do this.

This game is so dense and it takes so long to get through.

Normal mode has no teeth - it was comically easy but keep in mind I did finish the hard mode first...

I'm going to go back and replay it on normal mode because I want to know how things could have been.

Also - this game plays *nothing* like a Shinobi game but if you like character action - it's phenomenal.

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance was fantastic and hardcore mode pushed me in a way very few videogames have ever pushed me.

We finished it with 100% completion and all the DLC.

The DLC stages were honestly the worst part of the game. Bland and uninspired.

The DLC bosses, however, were incredible.

Getting PC98 stuff working was worth it - "46 Okunen Monogatari ~The Shinka Ron~" has easily become one of my favorite rpgs of all time.

Hopefully finishing that off tomorrow on stream!

Abari has been going downhill since they lost a tech so the machines aren't in their kept up shape anymore but it's still a good location.

Petty Thieves Brewing also has a small selection of machines that are queer owned but I've yet to go there myself.

I'd avoid pins mechanical entirely though
