Advent Procession will take place this Sunday 30 November at 6pm.
Join us in the Cathedral or online for this service which moves from darkness to light as we mark the beginning of the season of Advent.

All are welcome to join us on Remembrance Sunday at 10.15am for a service of thanksgiving which concludes with an Act of Remembrance at 11am at the War Memorial.
At 6pm the Nave Choir will sing music appropriate for the season of remembrance, interspersed with poetry and readings from Scripture.
Only two months left in 2025 but still time to see The Purgatory Project exhibition before it’s gone. It’s going to be another exciting month with the start of Christmas events at the end of November.

As Black History Month comes to an end, Dr Ben Fulford draws our attention to the stories behind memorials in the Cathedral and churches in the diocese connected to hidden histories of oppression of black people.

Looking for something to do during half term? Chester Cathedral in LEGO® will be opened up for visitors to walk through on Tuesday from 11am-3pm plus there will be family activities in the Nave on Tuesday and Wednesday from 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm.
Both activities are free and no booking required.
