I will report back if I ever find the courage to actually wear it 😂. Thank you for the support!!! 😭🫶🫶🫶

(I wore only two [2] dresses in my life. And they were church occasions. I don't go to church anymore. So.)
I bought, OF ALL THINGS, a dress. Will I actually wear it? Probably not. But we took a risk today! 🤘
Screenshot from episode 2 of kdrama We Are All Trying Here. A disheveled fortysomething man (Koo Kyo Hwan) wearing a grey sweatshort is saying: "To not feel anxious."
Continues from previous: "All I want..."
Continues from previous: "is to not feel anxious."
Thank you!! 🫶
(Sorry I'm meddling but: you're not annoying!!!!! Post more! Let it all out!)
As always, my HERO. 🫶
Oh you know I WILL! Thank you!!
Right, me too! I'm also still baffled about the English 😅.
Not just you re JamieMarvis. I checked out during their scenes! They were the only part I didn't really care for in an otherwise lovely series.
Anyway, this week after therapy I'm going to go hunt for clothes, also known as my least favorite activity ever. Pray for me. 😭
#bodyTalk I'm trying to make peace with being fat again, and looking up "tips" on how to dress is so hard when they all assume an abundance of breastiness, which some of us fat women (ironically enough, I guess!) don't have 😅.
His human was just "haha 🤷♂️" 🔪🔪🔪.
A mean small dog tried to fight with my extremely most goodest boy! How DARE he! 😤
But seriously, our dog is so good, he never barks at other dogs or cats. What did that little vermin want. 😭
Yes! I'm so glad it ended on a good note! No curse for them!

#DuangWithYou Nothing but respect for a final episode that's just cuteness. We got a baby corgi too!

Continues from previous: "can speak alien if he wants to."
#WeAreAllTryingHere I've never heard anything more true.
Partial screenshot of a Pagebound.co app page. There are four book covers, all have a little banner underneath that says "Read: Apr 2026". The book covers are: We Could Be Rats by Emily Austin A Thousand Blues by Cheon Seon-ran To Clutch a Razor by Veronica Roth Things in Nature Merely Grow by Yiyun Li #booksky
I have a digital shelf for my yearly reading highlights and up until early this month it was still empty. Now I have four books in it. 🫶 April has been very kind, reading-wise. 📚💙
Damn it 😭. (But thank you!)
Is Viki going to get the second half of Fourever You or not. I want to watch 😭.
Also, having to reapply SPF and then having to double cleanse? Too much WORK. 😭 (Sorry for being a big baby.)
I'm not on board with this walking business yet. I still have a way to go with therapy and everything, so it's possibly just my anxiety coloring it, but so far I find it overrated. 2/10, would not recommend! Especially with how hot it ALREADY is.
Trees & lizards & the sky are pretty, though. 10/10.
Screenshot from episode 7 of cdrama Sammy's Children's Day. A twentysomething tanned man (He Yan Zhao) in three-quarter profile. He's bathed in blue light, a lens flare almost caressing his face. He's wearing a grey suit with a colorful shirt. Behind him is an out of focus dark car.
#SammysChildrensDay Big fan of people in 🔷 blue 🔷.
#SammysChildrensDay I can't help but appreciate how often this emphatically nonsensical drama is just "these two are horny for each other. They're being idiots about it, but they are horny for each other".
Thank you for appreciating us!! I wish all dog butlers cleaned after them, but alas. 😓
a drawing of a little guy with long eyelashes sitting politely with their hands in their lap, looking at the viewer with a cutesy and expectant smile.
when someone is reading the thing you like and they get to the part before The Part and you're just sitting there waiting for the other shoe to drop like this.
Mmmm queer romance where they beat each other up a little before they kiss.
“It’s a couple of things that work beautifully in concert. First: no music. Audiences are so sophisticated, but what they’re not accustomed to is not being told how to feel,” Wyle says. “You take all that out and it forces a level of engagement where you’re now looking for clues within the frame of the screen, which forces you to look up from your phone. And I think that is extremely engaging, especially to young viewers who aren’t accustomed to being asked to participate in a nonpassive way in the viewing experience.
“Second point, shooting it with almost exclusively 50-millimeter or 65-millimeter lenses, which is the most comparable to the human eye—and only shooting from the point of view of a human being that’s present in this space. There are no cameras on gurney wheels going in the hallway. There’s no cameras on the ceiling looking down from a God point of view. You are limited to the perspective of a participant. You can look away, but you can’t leave, and it becomes an endurance test for you to stay on your feet as long as we’re on our feet. Which [brings me to my] third point: real time. Real time has an aggregate sense of tension that you don’t get in any other form of storytelling. What happened before is happening now, and these two things are going to add up to the next thing. And if we throw more ingredients into this cooker and keep ratcheting it up, it’s going to pop.”
Wyle makes eye contact for his next point, delivering it with a Robby-esque matter-of-factness. “Fourth point: The election went the other way,” he says with a shrug. “We could have been a really good show with a lot of nice things to say in a perfectly normal Kamala Harris universe. And instead we became almost a beacon of hope and humanity in an alternative universe. But in the midst of that, fifth point—this is essentially competence porn. You’re watching really smart, dedicated people do what only they know how to do at a level that you don’t know how to do it, and you’re so fucking glad that they’re there doing it, and compartmentalizing their own stuff to put your broken pieces back together. You’re so reassured by knowing that there are people out there that laugh and joke and have the ability to lock in like that.”
this is fucking unreal stuff from Noah Wyle on the magic of The Pitt. www.gq.com/story/noah-w...
