The cycle bus is likely to die a quiet death in the near future
But Newham has a good network of street changes, public realm improvement and cycle lanes.

Unlikely to succeed but still, no effort at all to improve connections to it south of the river in Greenwich.

Yesterday, 529 trips were made past Sir Harry's Road on the @A38Cycleway. 284 headed into the city, 245 headed towards Selly Oak.

There were 28,551 cyclists northbound and 25,079 cyclists southbound in total over this period, with an average of 1,927 cyclists northbound and 1,666 cyclists southbound per day. The busiest day was Thursday 19th March 2026 with 3,141 northbound and 2,806 southbound cyclists.
On Wednesday 1st April 2026 there were 1,858 cyclists northbound and 1,624 cyclists southbound.
