Can someone explain to Trump how caps-lock works?!

C14 dates are give as a range of possibilities - we don't even know if the date cited is at 1 or 2 sigma; radiocarbon dating of recent stuff is not terribly precise, I wouldn't put too much weight on this
I thought a blockade meant that you *stopped* ships going through the Straits. They should set up a web-cam so people can watch Trump be humiliated in real time
Wonderful
Glad you enjoyed it!
Shucks !
Indeed, when it comes to appeasing dodgy dictators, people in White Houses shouldn't throw stones...
Does anyone really think that Trump has a scooby who Neville Chamberlain was?
Brilliant- thanks so much!!
If ever need stuff just email me direct- always happy to help
Just sent my paper on early medieval sculpture in Brittany off to the editors. Curious - is anyone else working on early medieval archaeology in Brittany - particularly ecclesiastical stuff?
Thanks - next time we're out you should pop down and visit
Should say we would never have even know about the site if it wasn't for Jon and AAG. Our work is very much building on the work they have done there
We've also been able to scan some fragmentary stones which weren't done in the earlier survey
We've also carried out geophysical survey - and are working with the cemetert owners [and AAG ] to secure a long-term future for the site
They were scanned - but we are using new technology which gives better quality results. New work also allows us to assess rates of erosion. Crucially, our work will be placed in the public domain as an opac resource
Working with my colleague Alexander Jansen to record the eroding gravestones at the abandoned Jewish cemetery at Ayres Quay, Sunderland
That's why I'm hiding in the pub!
The opinion I have held since I first heard anything about Bob Dylan, which is that Bob Dylan is a wanker, remains unchallenged

In this article from the archives, Jesse Olszynko-Gryn and caitjan.bsky.social explore how familiar debates about the use of face masks shaped responses to the Influenza Pandemic of 1918.
Has anyone done any research on ADHD and the ability to engage/read Ebooks?

Come along to our next IAS lecture on 5 Feb, 6pm in the Saltwell Building. Ben Raffield (Uppsala) rethinks Viking Age warfare, revealing complex warrior identities and a more human, realistic picture of conflict in the early medieval North

I am really disappointed that the new version of EThOS at the British Library (the service for getting PhD theses) will be metadata-only. I really think we should use such resources, even if they are not books. They are still contributions to knowledge.
