we found out why everyone was noticeably emotional in that concert when ume’s graduation was announced afterward. so i def get saku wanting to communicate to ume, knowing she’ll graduate soon, “even a nervous wreck like me is having so much fun”, implicitly thanking ume for being a good captain

the MC on day 2 of the album memorial live where saku is emphatically telling ume that she had so much fun that concert that when she cried during kokonai they were happy tears. ume keeps trying to get saku to face the audience while speaking but saku refuses and keeps facing ume

both the way they talk about the episode and the episode itself gave me lowkey couple/date vibes, extra points for saku saying her private life clothes are “men’s” style and maybe that’s why the store person thought she gave DJ vibes

It’s hilarious to be able to look back to my first sketch and track the progress of this beast. My instinct is was right. A pain to sculpt, but worth it!

There’s floral details on their arms set on clear mesh like to look like they’re directly on their skin, kind of reminds me of figure skating costumes a bit. The skirts are very long and wedding dress-like.
