Jamie Carragher quiet as a fucking mouse. Not peep about Liverpool or Arnie Slots behaviour.
He has the power & platform to drive the national footballing debate but he doesn’t want negative press to destabilise Liverpool.
Kinda proves he thinks this stuff has an impact & that’s why he’s silent.

Yeah totally agree. Look at the likes of Dan Storey who has moved on and are writing loads of interesting pieces around the game away from replicating social media noise.
Hope it can find its way back but I’m not hopeful
Yeah, very fair comment
Just read it, absolutely shocking. Standard of football journalism in this country is in the pits.
The quicker people realise this affects all of us - the better.
It is crazy that the top level soccer players are asked to basically play 11 months out of the year, often playing at the highest intensity every 3-4 days over that 11 months. That doesn't seem sustainable for all but the freakest of the freak athletes.
Going through to the league cup semis low key probably the one of the worst things to happen to our season.
Has it? Doing pretty well considering we’ve had the likes of Partey at RB for half a season I thought.
Some things like Havertz playing 90 at Newcastle not great but not sure what the alternative would be.
Liverpool had a Henderson-Fabinho centre-back pairing for a run of games in 2020/21. Real Madrid started with two midfielders and an academy kid in their back four at the Man City last night. These things do happen.
Bad luck might be a factor but this isn't an exceptional one-off run of misfortune.
What can you say at this point? Devastating news for Havertz and terrible for the team. Feels like another gut punch in a season of gut punches. Just got to keep rolling with them and see what happens. If there's any positive at all, it's that those still standing can play without any pressure.
Wild we are here and I’m basically done with the season
Did think doing this was moronic.
I understand every bit of anger & frustration about our situation. I feel a lot of it too. I also think there’s room for at least *a little* acknowledgment that sometimes you’re just totally fucked & losing Saka, Jesus, Martinelli & Kai at the same time is one of those situation
This season is properly everything goes wrong territory
Kai has played almost identical minutes to Haaland & Salah in all comps. I see hardly any mention of them being overplayed or poorly managed. (& salah is over 30). I really believe the justifiable frustration about transfers is leading people to draw specious injury conclusions
So? Are we really saying the inclusion of Dembele turns them
From what we saw to the most dangerous side in the CL?
“Are PSG the most dangerous side in the CL?”
Team that won half their games, were made to look average by a struggling Arsenal side.
Be serious
Hello!
Strong day 🇮🇪☘️
Like the lads that are talking summer transfers the day after the window shuts. Mad to me
Very much enjoying the 10 day of “no Arsenal” gap….
People are debating whether Kieren Tierney will play left wing 🤣🤣.
Enjoy not having to worry for a few days 👍
Absolutely delightful to ignore an entire day’s football. A rare treat.
I've been watching back some of the 22/23 season and Gabriel is noticeably, tangibly better now. By a fair bit.
If you want to point out we’ve been poor at recruiting FWs, needed one for a few windows & have failed to do it again… be my guest. I think you’re right. But I don’t think the pool of players who help us is very big. Since we are very good already. I’m disappointed we have not found that guy though
Would never get 2 done in this window
Feel like any other discourse on this season is almost worthless
Exactly, everyone has their own rituals. Let’s worry about atmosphere in game (ok, not great yesterday) and not these takes
“He got hurt in the Villa game”
TRAINING GROUND INJURY
This is silly, it was fine and filled out quickly after. Every game bar the biggest sees an influx of people in the last 10
