It has been defeated!!! The evil broken block heater is uninstalled, and the leaking coolant hose has been replaced.

Oh, and the earlier mentioned bicycle: my grandfather’s old Tunturi Luxus, apparently originally from the 1970s, restored to functional condition again. I used to go on a lot of trips on this bike when I was a teenager, hah!

I got my bicycle back from repairs today and took it for a spin, and one couple of whooper swans made a low (and loud!) flyover right over me.
