"The Europeans should tell us, 'go fuck yourself' every time we do something stupid or immoral or unjust or we threaten them. And they should prepare. They should prepare for a world without us."
@michaeldweiss.bsky.social and @timmiller.bsky.social on Europe preparing for a post-American world:
You may not be familiar with FIU. They produce more hispanic doctorate candidates than other universities, even Texas, and it's still too small. But go ahead and kick them Marco @secmarcorubio45.bsky.social like spineless Renfield eathing cockroaches for his Master.
I know I've posted this before, but this article is a must read for understanding how authoritarians create hate-objects to gain power. It's just a strategy: www.buzzfeednews.com/article/hnsg...

“This is pathetic.”
Bill Kristol reacts to Vice President JD Vance saying that a tit for tat brawl over economic terrorism will become the administration’s priority, over reopening the Strait of Hormutz.
Unpopular take: something like the NPVIC would be constitutional, but the version that states have actually been passing is practically unworkable. It provides no meaningful definition of the NPV, how that is to be ascertained, how to deal with ambiguities, or how to decide any disputes.
so they'd have to pay $35/mo for election results to get the NPV?
“With the highest turnout in Hungary’s democratic history, voters delivered a crushing verdict: Fidesz was reduced to just 55 seats, out of 199, while Tisza took 138, crossing the magical two-thirds threshold for constitutional reforms… [showing] democracy can be peacefully restored by the people”
We used a combined quantitative and qualitative approach to critically evaluate the 11 studies that reached a “remarkably similar conclusion” about widespread desistance.

A new independent audit says that Google, Meta, Microsoft are all still tracking users even after they opt out. 55 percent of the sites it checked set ad cookies in a user’s browser even if they opted out of tracking.

The effective federal corporate income tax rate:
1950: 50%
1990: 25%
2020: 13%
Stop asking "but how we will pay for it?" Restore the corporate tax rate.
That is how we will pay for it.

We ordered Chinese food. First went to order from DoorDash until we noticed a $25 service fee. Went to the restaurants website, chose their delivery service of choice and saved $50 from the DoorDash price.

Has anvone dealt with fake reviews? This person is mad because I used Al to illustrate my book and wrote a review without actually reading or purchasing the book. I reported it to Amazon but was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Miss 會文文文女 Book contains generated content that does not belong to the author Reviewed in Canada on April 11. 2026 When I see authors like Choosing to use generated illustrations, it makes me believe they do not stand by their own product. I would support the author if they paid for real illustrated artwork- it is shameful since the story could have been helpful to children going through the same thing. Since the art is obviously generated by artificial intelligence, I don't have confidence that the written content belongs to the author; The author chose to use generated art and so the book content is likely to be generatec as well. Invest your money elsewhere, this book is not worth the price.
