this guy had his own game before moon child, named 'hoi.' quite fitting considering that's the guy's name and that the team behind both games is called 'team hoi.'

anyways hoi has just an equally as good ost as moon child, take a listen to the intro theme. it slaps so fucking hard.

With the lid getting blown on Minecraft Legacy Console Edition can someone tell me if it's possible to rip my childhood worlds off of my old Xbox One

An error that could happen is background layers being hard to set at integers for scrolling, creating an accidental subpixeling or aliased "crusty" effect. Something would need to be put in place to clamp it

Interested in that advanced effect you're thinking of now though :V

While maybe a dumb idea, I've wondered what parallax occlusion mapping on a sprited background would look like, it might useful for you here

It would require a normal or height map but it may be able to work on 1-layer MD backgrounds

If you painted a full normal map, it could make it pseudo-3d too

A depiction of the Hangman from "The Hangman" animation of 1964 made by Les Goldman and Paul Julian. A haunting but relevant piece.

On top of that, I cant really use the drumkit patches my other vsts have because multi out just doesnt exist, which kills the ability to mix them in an actual song unless I want to let Jesus take the wheel or have my arrangement bend to the drumkit's will

The absolute state of acoustic drums in desktop music is a complete torture nexus

You have:

The most overprocessed garbage samples that try to sound like metal or dubstep

An unmixable drum vst where you cant split the outputs and the individual drums are inaudibly soft

This is good somehow

Watching the chaos unfold on twitter while more and more atrocities are discovered in the files have left me wondering if people are going to actually do something about the elites this time or if we're just going to have yet another round of peaceful protests that have never done anything once

(5/5) Maybe the internet has gotten too large? Too centralized? I'm not really sure. But whatever happened, it's made it all far more lonely than it used to be.

It could just be a matter of perspective, though.

I wonder if I'm the only one that feels like this, or if anyone else has noticed.

(4/5) Was the culture online good? Probably not that great. I'll admit I'm looking at things with rose-tinted glasses. There was at least *something* though. Nowadays, especially in the neck of the woods I exist in, it's a chaotic mess where there's no sense of community or even coexistence.

(3/5) While it's a gut feeling, I think this is because any semblance of culture that once existed online has completely disintegrated. Probably due to the state of just about everything rapidly degrading since the turn of the decade.

(2/5) ...among hundreds, if not thousands of people. Maybe it had to do with growing up, but it feels like that's gone now. Like everyone and everything has just vanished, or is a shell of itself. Where once was crowded is completely barren.

(1/5) Something that I've noticed that's been bothering me is that as this decade has passed, it's felt like culture has been dissolving year by year, especially on the internet.

Say if this is just a me thing, but five years ago it felt like existing on the internet was staking your claim...
