New addition: M4 14" MacBook Pro 24/512 and an external 4TB SSD - switching from Windows - What are your best set up tips?
I see you also like to live on the edge.
The "Ask AI" feature in the @drizzle.team docs is what ALL docs need. Very helpful.
Yes, you are ready 🙌
Happy to see @freecodecamp.bsky.social just shared my React Native for Beginners course before year's end! 🎉 I try to donate at least one video course per year to their amazing YT channel. Truly an honor to contribute to such an outstanding resource.

You are a friend that shares great coding content, but I follow you for the food pics! 🍜 Looks great!
I did it! 🎉 I got the Yeti home at DebugDecember.com #DebugDecember
This was a fun advent calendar! Thank you @sentry.io 🙌
With the new free tier of GitHub Copilot, this cannot be said enough ... Beginners should NOT use AI coding assistance. It is frequently wrong. Learn the fundamentals so you know how to correct it.
My most watched video is on freeCodeCamp's YT channel (@freecodecamp.bsky.social) - and it's a great place to start or refresh some fundamentals. "HTML for Beginners" has over 3 million views! 🤯

Lots of code to write.. but there are NJ drone videos to watch. Seriously, "nothing to see here" and at the same time, they hold a classified briefing. Talk about mixed messages!
4. Build stuff! Keep learning! Don't stop! Keep adding to your portfolio. Contribute to an open source project. Keep coding and learning!
What's your advice for new devs?
Please keep adding to my list!
Network! Look for code meet-ups in your area and if you can, go to developer conferences. Knowing people helps open doors. Shout out to @thatconference.bsky.social 🙌
2. Randall Kanna has a great book called "The Standout Developer". If you're looking for a guide book, this will put you in the right direction: randallkanna.gumroad.com/l/zLNdN
1. Follow @dthompsondev.bsky.social - Danny shares great advice for dev job seekers All. The. Time. He also has a course on improving your LinkedIn profile.
It's the end of the semester, and my university students are asking me for advice on getting started in the dev job market. What would you suggest to these students?
Here's some specific advice I share that they don't get from the career guidance office 👇

React Table in Next.js
My Next.js Full Stack Project series rolls on with Chapter 10 🎉 In this video, we look at how to add powerful responsive data tables with React Table and ShadCN/ui. Some Drizzle in there, too!
Having fun with the Advent Calendar challenges in Sentry's Debug December 🙌
Day [11] ✅ I got the Yeti one step closer to home at DebugDecember.com #DebugDecember
However, I received a screenshot of an open folder "showing me the files".
Yep, I see them. Another learning experience.
Good communication skills and patience are underrated developer skills.
For example, I asked a user to send me some files I needed to see. I _assumed_ they knew I meant attach the files to an email because I need to see what is inside of them. 👇
When you're building something and think "There must be an easier way..", there usually is, but you haven't found it yet. And sometimes you just have to write a regex to pluck out what you need.
Thank you for creating next-safe-action! 🙏
