So they let the teachers who are being...moved? laid off? I don't know? know on Friday, and apparently they're getting rid of both of our 8th grade science teachers. Which, given that all the 7th graders will be 8th graders next year, seems like a bad idea.

Dentist appointment then work. Hockey on Thursday, which means I'll be making earrings for the next few days. Breakfast banana sitting weird in my stomach. Starting the week off strange.

I have eaten too much chocolate today and given myself a stomach ache. Bad planning (or lack thereof) on my part.

Laundry 1/2 done. Snack bag makings acquired and snack bags made, gift basket for family of hurt player completed. BC taxes done. Gotta love a productive day.

Boys are 2-0 in round 2. I love my bb!hockeys so much. Last day of spring break which will be filled with errands because if I'm going to get back into a routine, I might as well go all the way, right? Also have to do sales tax for the booster club and make sure husband has done our taxes. LIFE.

Things I wish people knew about hockey: heated rivalry edition - Periods are 20 minutes, intermissions 18. There is not a handshake line at the end of every game. Warm-ups last 15 minutes, and most players leave the ice before the time is up.

My planned alternate adventure has now also run off the rails. I have failed at spring break.

My adventure plan for tomorrow has been preempted by needing to meet up with someone in the middle of the day. Ah well.

Slept in today. Planned on doing an adventure, but decided not to instead. Might do one tomorrow if the nice weather holds. Have read six books since break started. Bought 9 more. Having trouble with reducing TBR pile. Break is going to be over before I know it and with nothing accomplished. Sigh.

When people tell you they want to do something, but then manage to find ways not to do it, you wonder if you're friends or friends of convenience. Spring break is already looking bad for me.
