Timur Slavgorodskii-Kazanets is a second-year Digital Media PhD student at the University of Salford, Manchester. His research focuses on understanding how video game narratives can depict socio-political issues and contribute to the construction of the player’s identity.
Sara Bimo (she/her) is a PhD Candidate in Communication & Culture at York University. Her research examines perceptions and imaginaries of technological infrastructures and the intersection between non-rational world-making, identity formation, and political resistance.

Mark Hines is a PhD candidate in English at the University of Kentucky. He is interested in representations of race and gender in virtual and fantastic worlds. His dissertation explores fantasy games and their racial groups since 2020.
Ambrin Hasnain (she/her) is a PhD student at the University of Melbourne on Wurundjeri Country. She is interested in understanding how coloniality informs everyday practices and her research examines colonial and decolonial tropes and practices in Australian video games.
