It’s been a banger year for games. But this is the first time I’ve felt overwhelmed by how much there was. So I tried to focus on my backlog a little bit more. And I still had a great time :)

Thinking about all of the games I played this year. I mostly played older games lol. Of course I got new games. E33, MK World, DK Bananza, Kirby Air Riders, etc

But I started this year with Yakuza 0, then I played Link’s Awakening for the first time, now I’m playing Cyberpunk

The game can be fun. But I don’t think I’ve had any “holy shit” moments the same way I do with Guilty Gear, SF6, or Tekken

Marvel Tokon has some really high highs and some really low lows. When I can play against someone like other fighting games, where neutral becomes a mind game, the game is great! But when your opponent gets really mashy, the game gets frustrating because it works really well
