A monarch butterfly hanging onto a Gregg's Mistflower.
The Monarch butterflies (Danaus plexippus) have mostly moved on towards their final destination. Only a few stragglers are left like this one clinging to the flower of a Gregg's Mistflower (Conoclinium greggii).
