Librarians are amazing. You can ask them about a book you think might have been a dream, but you’re pretty sure you read when you were eleven and the cover was blue…and they’ll find it! 💙📚

Senators demand OPM withdraw plan to access feds’ medical records More than a dozen Democratic lawmakers warned that a little-scrutinized proposal to collect claims-level data related to the Federal Employees Health Benefits and Postal Service Health Benefits progra...

The Trump admin wants access to the personal medical records of millions of federal workers, including their medical visits, prescriptions, and treatment histories.

This is just wrong.

I'm urging them to reserve course on this dangerous decision, which puts Americans’ privacy at risk.

Your ballot or other mail may not get postmarked by USPS the day it's dropped off Close to a deadline for mailing your ballot, tax return or legal document? To make sure it gets a postmark on time under the latest USPS changes, you may want to send it early or visit a post office.

TAX DAY PRO TIP if you're filing by mail: Do not rely on a mailbox or a letter carrier today for filing your return on time.

Go inside a post office and ask for a free manual postmark at the counter.

Otherwise, your tax return may not get an April 15 postmark date and the IRS may apply penalties

Disney Layoffs Hit Marvel Studios Hard The Academy Award-winning artists behind some of Marvel's biggest hits are among the casualties from company wide staff reductions.

Devastated to hear the entire Marvel Studios’s Visual Development team has been let go. This was my old home but more importantly, the home of so many incredible artists and peers.

Absolutely heartbreaking 😔
Sending all my impacted peers my love and support. Please reach out if you need anything!

Remember:
No matter where you are in life or what twisted roads you've traveled down, you're never far away from a mossy haunted cottage hiding in the woods, wreathed in gloom and malice.
Take comfort in that.

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette announces it has found a buyer to keep the newspaper open Owners of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette said they have found a buyer who had agreed to keep the newspaper open, less than a month before it was due to shut down.

The nonprofit that runs the successful, Pulitzer-winning Baltimore Banner is going to take over the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Of all the possible outcomes here, this is likely the best we could have hoped for.

I suspect the Pope sounds "woke" to many Christian conservatives because the US is steeped in prosperity theology, where the point of worship is to deliver health and wealth to believers. Thus, "feed the hungry" and "show mercy for the poor" sounds needlessly political and "woke."

This might surprise you, but everyone should be clear about how this works.

Even though Eric Swalwell suspended his campaign, California law doesn’t just pull names off the ballot. Once you qualify, you’re on it.

That’s the problem.

Look at the women at NASA.

They are the ones pushing the boundaries of science, solving problems most people can’t even understand, and carrying this country forward, while our politicians right now posture and stumble through talking points.

And they are doing it all with joy.👇
