Baby girl got her first full round of vaccines today and the combo can result in a fever as well as just general fussiness. Basically we’re just trying to make it through the night as best we can at this point.
Only issue I ever had with the tank controls was with RE4 because I was late to the original game and was using a Xbox controller through Steam so it took some adjusting because of mapping issues, that first village run was ✨fun✨ until I got used to it 😆

I wear “sports” sunscreen and only that because it’s sweat proof and waterproof. It’s never failed me even at SPF 30. 😆
(except for my face I wear Neutrogena so I don’t break out like crazy)

I feel so disconnected from my own life right now. I hardly see other adults & I am trying not to bother friends when I know they are working & have their own shit going on. The house is a mess & the baby screams every time I put her down. Yet I still feel like I’m not doing enough.
I’m exhausted.
No because how is my daughter a month old today!?!??

I successfully ran an errand on my own with a newborn today that involved using the folding stroller and I didn’t lose my mind. I’m calling that my win for the week.

Left the baby with the MIL this morning to take the husband for an appointment.
Tell me why she had to re-dress my child, just to put her in a frilly pink outfit that she bought, just to take a photo. 😑
As much as the 3am feedings drain my energy I also wouldn’t trade them for anything. All my daughter has to do is look at me and it makes it all worth it.

My milk has finally started to come in and I’m so relieved I could cry.
I wish it was more broadly known that it could take up to a week after birth for milk to even come in if you’re induced (as I was).
If this congestion would go away that would be great. 😌
Finally free of my C-section wound vac!! It was an incredible piece of technology but I will not miss having a gameboy cartridge attached to me.
