Damn, that ear healed up like a fuckin' miracle.

Wow. There's nothing Nazi-adjacent about *that*.
Just a thought: How about we stop shaming the poor for buying things that may not be essential, and start shaming the rich for making a profit off things that are essential?
Guess what I found thrifting yesterday?
A Dell B2360dn laser printer. FOR 25 BUCKS!
Score.
That seems a lot more voluntary and consensual.
I could be wrong, having never used it.
Just a privacy reminder: turn off WiFi network on your TV.
If it works fine now, you don't need those updates.
But WalMart (e.g.) needs those snapshots of what you are watching/playing for extra revenue.
In my experience over the last couple of years, updates just fuck up the viewing experience.
I'm pretty sure AI LLMs are in the Epstein files.
We should release the files, just to be sure.
Yogurt so good it almost tastes like cheese.
A friend told me she needed some PKIs for a February report. She asked the data team for those PKIs. The numbers she got back were hinkey.
They used AI to get the data.
She asked for the raw data. "Only luddites use Excel anymore," they said.
AI is turning people into useless fucking idiots.
Jesus Christ, I feel like Batman, all the shit I take care of every day.
/me playing Arkham Knight.
Hey, #WritingCommunity, what do you use for version control?
I'm a software developer, so I just use git. I use LyX for my editor, giving a plain-TeX (pun intended) doc format, so I can use git features like cherry-picking; it makes sense.
Wouldn't work for binaries as well. So what do you use?
Grew up in Southeast Alaska, but our feed was from CBC. Sure, we got MASH and All In The Family (which probably explains why I am the liberal I am today), but we also got things like Beachcombers.
This show was unique, and very few shows can claim its pedigree.
Must be spring.
Just saw the first ants of the season in my bathroom sink.
"After deep reflection and with the support of my loving family..."
I have seen this many times in my life. Every time it is to elide harm done by the one posting, most often (but not entirely) by a GOP member.
She set herself *on fire*. I will not ever forget that.
And neither should you.
From the "Songs everyone should know" department:
Take care of tomorrow tonight, and tomorrow will take care of itself.
There. I just wrote a best-selling self-care book.
Not every business needs a goddamned mobile app.
You never grow more intelligent by reading decidedly unintelligent ravings of others.
This isn't something to be posted almost daily, like "God Is A Bullet," but is now appropriate.
Considered posting the original Dylan version, but decided gospel-infused version more appropriate.
All I'm saying is Michael Penn deserved more love.
More talented than his brother Sean?
Maybe.
Reminder: Throw Momma From The Train is a Rob Reiner movie. Not because he directed it (Danny DeVito did that), but because he has one of the best cameos ever.
But most importantly, HOW DO YOU REVIEW? You can't.
AI created code is bad enough as it is. Considering how LLMs work, you can never fully trust it without through review.
Considering bad actors can already taint the public corpus with malign code, emitting binaries is a horrible idea.
The idea of AI emitting binaries instead of source is the most bone-headed idea pretty much all time.
First, it's a tragic waste of resources. Compilers are efficient and deterministic.
AI is orders of magnitude less efficient. Creating binaries for different targets is a huge inefficiency.

Oh, no! I'm so surprised. ICE agents inflict violence and then *lie* about it?
Like cops have been doing for the entire existence of copping?
Eliminate the entire agency and hold public trials for these motherfuckers.
So, the new No Man's Sky update was *definitely* inspired by Death Stranding.
Gotta be careful with those deliveries so you don't lose packages.
Streaming services cancelled.
Turns out we don't watch much anymore.
Charro beans and TexMex chicken and rice.
A perfect dinner.
After 1469 days of uptime, I finally upgraded paperdove.org from Debian 9 to Debian 13. Also, I re-provisioned the service, so I have 4 times the RAM and SSD for the same price.
Now to set up Apache/Nginx and Postgres.
I used to love sysadmin stuff. Not so much anymore.
Could write bill or add amendments to direct funds to funding more immigration judges and lawyers, decent facilities for incoming asylum seekers, and streamline the naturalization process.
