Trans SWers have always been at the forefront of the SW advocacy movement.
Black and Brown trans workers built the foundations for the solidarity, culture of mutual aid and transformative politics that sustain the community today.

To us, visibility is not just about being seen. Visibility must include support, safety and respect. SWOPLA has always, and will always center the needs and voices of trans workers, the lifeblood of our community.
