In the tech world, it's always "fake it till you make it", even if you know a merely 0% of what you're talking about. Just amazing!

Credits to Eckert for getting the team to go toes to toes with Arsenal. Under a lot of previous managers, we would've gone defensive and relied on luck. But that performance was not it.

I did like how compact Japan was in the 5-2-3, No space for Palmer/Foden between-the-lines.

Wing Backs pushing up when England FBs receive then the rest shifting over as a Back 4.

Front 3 + Kamada/Sano did a good job keeping an eye on Anderson/Mainoo.

perfectionism is so often seen as a permissive ability to create or drive something towards perfection, but in reality, it's a crippling inability to let go of anything imperfect

it's an obsession, it stagnates you, and gets you stuck on things you shouldn't be

Somehow I think he's still at Wolfsburg and thought, yeah that checks out with how bad they are this season, not realising that he's at Köln now 🙃

Three under-the-radar signings that you and I might have missed (Part 2) A current Germany U21 hotshot, another German leading the line to a promotion, a forgotten wonderkid, and a truly under-the-radar honourable mention.

Also an excuse to plug this article again if anyone is curious about what Tresoldi can bring. While you're at it, check out Gabri Veiga as well, who is flying under the radar at Porto after returning from Saudi.

I wasn't expecting Tresoldi to attract interest this soon into his Club Brugge time, was thinking this would be the season where he adapts to top-flight + European football and would start kicking off next season. He always has that potential, I just didn't expect top teams to recognise that soon.
