Concept art of Angry Birds Big Adventure hung up on the walls of Rovio Stockholm. Said artwork features Bird and Pig designs for the planned pre-historic chapter of the game, alongside concept designs for dinosaur-like characters. What their original purpose was in the chapter is unknown.

Rovio Stockholm's building has pictures hung up on the walls featuring concept art from their games. Notably, one of these happens to be concept art for Angry Birds Big Adventure - the time travel themed game that turned into AB2 - showing several character sketches. (1/2)

Jakob Foged's portfolio features a storyboard for a scrapped Angry Birds Toons episode. Labelled under "Angry Birds_Eggsoccer", it features Red & Chuck competing against the pigs in a game of soccer to get their egg back, which the pigs are using as the ball.

The first/earliest test animation made for Piggy Tales. Featuring Red and a Minion Pig in a Cobalt Plateaus environment, all with real claymation unlike the final show using CG animation stylized like claymation.

The second test animation made for Piggy Tales, more accurate to how the show would actually look. But featuring an earlier pig model more styled like the early toons look instead of the final.

Another page showing a group of Helmet Pigs getting caught in an explosion (seemingly from Bomb in the previous page), with Red and the Blue celebrating, before noticing King Pig and a Helmet and Minion Pig driving through on a shoddy vehicle with the eggs, to which they both give chase on skateboards.

A page showing two Blues trying to calm down Bomb to prevent him from exploding, by performing activities such as fanning him, playing the harp and lighting candles, which gradually calm him down. Unfortunately, a candle then falls on his fuse, causing it to ignite as the two Blues look at eachother in fear before he blows up.

What appears to be cover art, featuring traced artwork of Red, Bomb and a Minion Pig, with the latter two being their classic designs as opposed to being taken from Miguel Moreno's early art or an animation like the rest of the traced art in the comic.

Around the early 2010s, British company Panini developed a proposal for an Angry Birds comic, illustrated by Lee Carey. The art mostly consisted of traces from Angry Birds animated shorts. It's unknown how far this proposal got or if Rovio was ever contacted.

Back in November 2013, Rovio Japan held an event at the App Bank Store at Shinjuku City with art director Toni Kysenius. The event was about teaching children on how to draw Angry Birds characters step by step. Various images from the event were archived from a blogpost at the time.

An image of Becky Jones' portfolio on her website, mainly the page where she talks about her playtesting experience with Angry Birds back when it was published under Chillingo/Clickgamer. Mainly her suggesting stuff like trajectory/bird trails and the "pinch-zoom" camera. "I first got my hands on an early build of the game when there were no animations on the birds. Assigned to look after it as External Producer, I was to work closely with the developer Rovio to help bring Angry Birds to market. Yet despite this version of the game being an early one, the wicked laughs of the characters had me grinning from ear-to-ear. As I started flinging birds from the catapult to hit the pigs, I knew this was going to be a fun game to work on. It was to be released under Chillingo’s mass market brand Clickgamer. Like a book publisher works with a writer to help them refine and edit their book to the right standard for launch, the role of a games publisher is to work with the developer to help them prepare for release, advising on how to polish the game to AAA standard and supporting with marketing. I worked closely with Rovio providing detailed feedback to the development team, playing through the various builds of the game, advising on gameplay and platform specific best practice, and flagging bugs. At that point the iPhone had been out for less than a year and a half, and a lot of developers were new to the user experience expectations on the platform. Some key recommendations regarding gameplay included putting in trajectories and ghosting of trails to increase the player’s ability to learn how to beat the level. Regarding platform specifics, the inclusion of gestures like pinch-zoom reduced player frustration and aligned with user interaction expectations on the iPhone."
