It’s pretty special that we have this exclusive and beautifully written obituary of an American legend.
I wish I had 5,000 words and another two or three interviews for this story. I loved talking to Rajeev about law, education, mentorship, ambition, politics, all of it!
AI has made April Fools Day much less fun. And I used to be a huge fan. I still have the gag front page I was allowed to design for my newspaper in 2021.
The best part of this (great) article is that our sports editor Nick took the opportunity to try skiing for the first time.
Oh yeah don’t mind us, just tag-teaming to bring you total I-5 landslide coverage domination. Props to @annietodd.bsky.social @finnwendt.com and @sophia-gates.bsky.social

I just happened to stumble upon this story and thought it was really interesting! I loved longtime grower Nick’s thoughts on the cannabis industry: “It’s just agriculture. We’ve been doing this for thousands of years.”
It feels like this story has been written ten different times over the past decade, so I had to try and find something new to say.
Community members gathered on the winter solstice to mourn the 87 homeless people who died in Whatcom County this year.
