A complicated figure showing 10 different beams varying from azimuthal to radial polarization. There are also atomic spectra showing that the depth of certain features strongly correlates with the degree of radiality.

The variation of the field in the 2-state model. The rapid turn-on of a strong, resonant, continuous wave laser field may trigger the formation of a transient oscillation akin to a train of damped solitons.
