This is some gross reporting.

“refusing to surrender”? What koolaid have you been drinking? The US regime started this war. Stop painting them as the diplomats.

Either report the facts or stop reporting. This piss poor reporting is gross.

THIS! To anyone questioning why I’m not more excited about space… We are creating an environment here on earth so inhospitable that members of our community had to quit their job in space in order to protect themselves. Fuck space while transpeople and migrants are still being ostracized & killed

What a tell though. Democrats don’t care about governing! They allowed our tax money to build the bombs being used to commit war crimes and now they want to ‘Cut-Taxes as a cost of living solution’? BS! They want to pretend to be doing something while they take their turn gutting our governments.

This is so gross. Tax cuts are not a cost of living solution… the Democrats are once again failing to meet the moment by peddling the wealthy’s policies as working class solutions. Tax cuts only serve one purpose and it’s to cut social-civil programs.

What a bad fucking clown show we have created for our world. We are literally living in a time where billionaires borrow real money based on fake money but the people are nickel and dimed. #wealthextraction #moneyisFAKE

This country can drop bombs faster than @navyfederal.bsky.social releases the money being deposited into my account. It’s BS that yall will check my identity while I am at the counter and look at me with a straight face saying I’m gonna have to wait till tomorrow to get the check/money I deposited

Even in the most extreme cases, the benefits of moving 98% of people out of the private vehicle will create an environment for those most vulnerable to get access to their world through a medically required vehicle designed for their needs with out worrying about violence from drivers.

If we build a well designed, cohesive, and accessible public transit infrastructure- the need for the disabled to be driven by private vehicles evaporates as they gain the right to move without needing permission.

There is no reason to allow disabled people to be used as scapegoats for car brain.

"Not everyone can-"

OK but a lot of - most - people who can don't.

"- wear a mask."
"- drive less or not at all."

We absolutely need to recognise that not everyone can but it's deeply cynical to use that to reject any change, especially while ignoring the ways failing to do it affects people now.

I have fully rejected the argument that disabled people need to be able to drive.

It’s a weak argument based in a reality where a car is more affordable and accessible than to use a wheelchair (motorized or not). We can and must change our systems for everyone. #RightofWayAdvocates

I live the issues in this race. As the only renter, I’ve moved 8 times just to keep up. When I talk affordability, I don't guess. I’m living it.

This campaign is about changing the status quo. Not just opposing Trump–building something better.

We don’t owe this seat to anyone.

It’s gross to be satisfied with the watered down scraps while watching the boss eat cake and drive motorcades of $175,000 vehicles.

I’m watching as an interstate bridge, one metro region over, gets wrecked by a ship and rebuilt in 1/3 of the time that it took to get ONE critical piece of pedestrian infrastructure tacked onto a conventional train bridge expansion. I don’t really feel like that’s something worth celebrating.

2 weeks ago 1 0 1 0

Pedestrians and cyclists get scraps while the death machine eats money. The bridge is not a significant enough victory for our communities when we get one desperately needed piece of infrastructure built while extravagant death machines are still prioritized over everything else.

2 weeks ago 0 0 1 0

Sure the bridge is okay but it’s still years away from completion in 2030 and the neighborhood is still fighting tooth and nail to get the developers to follow through on it. Acting like this bridge is a major victory ignores the 8 car centric bridges crossing in the vicinity.

Yes and it’s a political will problem. More often than not, US politicians will kick the can down the road in order to maintain and consolidate what perceived power they hold instead of doing anything that builds real political power. “Business as Usual” will win 8/10 times in a challenge.

The Dic-Tator-Tot can barely keep his eyes open for cabinet meetings, did we really expect this 80 going on 8 year old to sit still for longer than 15 minutes?

The real question- “is biking now easier than driving?” The problems were never with walking being more convenient, it was with the car being more convenient. When it’s easier to cross a road by driving that it is by walking, you can’t then compare the walking to biking.

“We can’t take the train because we don’t have a train near by where we live” then proceeds to block the train being built near by. You literally would have an uphill fight to block an interstate highway but canceling train lines? Another Wednesday.

We were robbed by the car brains… literally we have multiple Bridges for interstates but quality pedestrian infrastructure? Good luck on the sidewalks because we must reserve our 60+ feet right of ways for the death machine.

Once everyone realizes that common law was never designed to enforce justice, it was designed to control the poor- the sooner we realize why the law allows criminals to rule while jailing the innocent.

Didn’t you know? drivers are entitled to park anywhere they please according to @arlingtonva.us

Literally watched and called someone out as they parked in the Potomac Yard-Crystal City Transit Way and the reply I got was “are you the police”.

It’s telling that ICE is also not being paid but they’re glad to be the ones terrorizing airports. TSA said “we only terrorize when we get paid” but ICE is gleefully patrolling around…

It’s Tuesday night and the residents of @arlingtonva.us are out in force to share their concerns about the county budget, from the woodshop program, to the cherrydale library, to the gymnastics program, to the surveillance programs, there are a lot of topics of concern in this budget proposal.

Seconding @americanfietser.bsky.social

I’m actively watching the regime try to rip out DC bike lanes because of these arguments.

The jokes stop being funny when they’re literal arguments being used against you and your community.

The jokes wasn’t funny and these style of jokes have only served to normalize behaviors. If you’re joking, find a different way to express the joke. Most people are not going to dive into your profile to figure out if you’re being satirical or not.

Not everyone can or should drive! We need infrastructure for people not an idealistic thinking with little basis in reality. We have developed infrastructure for millennia without needing a death machine, we can develop infrastructure for the next millennium that isn’t reliant on death machines.
