Well, I only read the first book of the Expanse, and I really didn’t like any of the characters. I actually skipped the first season of the adaptation because I knew the plot and the first episode was boring. But I heard buzz about the show. Yes, it does get really good in later seasons!

I like the U.S. TV adaptation of The Three Body Problem.

Ready Player One was a better book than movie.

Outlander started weak as a TV show and strong as a book series. It got weak in later books but the TV show is outstanding in later seasons.

Kindred, by Octavia Butler, got a TV adaptation, but they canceled it after one season.

Silo, based on Hugh Howey's Wool... ergh. The books are better, IMO.

Blake Crouch's Dark Matter is good and the TV adaptation is decent.
