I used to not like care bears but I feel seen with the psychedelic nature of their universe and power of friendship as well as them being metaphysical embodiments of emotion. it is kinda high concept. the art style has grown on me as well
reposting from tumblr but let 2026 be the year I never have to see another makeship plushie or enamel pin kickstarter from an artist I used to admire again. hold artists to higher standards & do not exploit underpaid factory workers in the global south. just because you can doesn't mean you should!
