Rand's probably the best character but you don't really get his *full* development until after Book 6. It's a slow burn, a bit like Mat was this series. Season 3 will ramp things up for him significantly.

Egwene and Nynaeve don't stop being awesome.

I'm quite upset that it *seems* they may have replaced entire alternate realities with a cup of tea but I don't think that's viable so I still hold out hope.

He needs to come back. But they only have so much screentime with 8 episodes per series. Now that Mat is awesome hopefully they'll become best buds.
