IT'S OFFICIALLY VACATION TIME

Won my commander league, vacation is in less than a week, and will get to probably close the store early.

Hell yeah.

6 days til vacation!

I've been so productive at work this last week, but now I've hit a wall where I'm having to debug code, and it feels like the entirety of the wind has left my sails.

Good news everyone!

My partner and I celebrated Christmas last night, as I will be out of town the day of, and she loved her gift!!

This is big, as I am typically a terrible gift giver.

Wondered why I was having such a hard time dealing with customers last night, and then realized two things:

1. I haven't had a real break from work (especially the store) in a long time

2. I haven't been taking my brain-meds-to-make-me-function lately

I'm headed back to visit my folks next week. It'll be the first time I've been back to my home area in over a year. Last night I couldn't sleep, so I went ahead and packed for my trip.

Now we wait...

Y'all, I know I haven't posted much, but I just wanted to log in and shout out my girlfriend who is absolutely amazing. She isn't on bsky, but I want to let my friends know that she's absolutely great.

My girlfriend and I are thinking about taking a trip up there, and I was wondering what we should see and do, where to stay, etc. Any insights would be appreciated!
