Who knew a guy with 3 Int has so much to talk about #fabtcg

That said, my biggest takeaway from the hefty list of bans is that I wish they still used "Specialization" more freely
I think most class and talent combinations have a lot more room to explore before we hit the point where "Hero #1 feels just like Hero #2!". Maybe Aurora 2 is very different to the point of almost flopping, but idk how same-y it should feel so soon after the first version
Libra statement incoming, but there's a balance to be had. Before Vynnset was spoiled the question was "how can they do Chane again without it being busted" and the answer was "they can't" so we get an entirely new mechanic in Rune Gate which gave us one of the most fun heroes to play in the game.
Now that I've got LL points playing this card, I am renewing my request for a re-cropped playmat that matches the card better @fabtcg.com pretty please. I want to play on that mat so badly but I can never unsee bad crop lol
Tuffnut got his first LL points today. ๐ค #fabtcg
Got the first points for Vynnset, and now the Sturdy Pistachio. Go ahead and keep printing "3 Int" heroes for me @fabtcg.com ๐
I hear he has some LL points now though

I wonder if there is any chance of getting a new version of this mat that is cropped like the actual card. I don't care about the random person smiling in the foreground, but I do care deeply about the literal Rok in the background that we cropped the top of the head off
The Demonastery has truly blessed us this day ๐๐

This is an awesome upgrade
Purple man is always fun. I also think that the emergence of Marlynn is a big net positive for the format

Vynnset or RKO vs Mario
Spellblade Onslaught, 3 cost, 4 power, 3 block, Create 3 Runechants. Simple, elegant, beautiful, powerful.

(also if you do, I will forgive you for not naming Hocus Pocus after Wounding Blow lol)
Alright @fabtcg.com, I share my birthday with you, so here is my birthday wish. Please complete this cycle and give us Spellblade Onslaught. And if you see fit to let me or the @rathetimes.bsky.social spoil it, I'll write a spoiler article befitting an Arknight and worthy of the Annuls of Sutcliffe.
I agree it's unlikely to change, but I would argue that Felling pushes the needle towards even less variance in FaB on a macro level, because it homogenizes decks. When you sit down against a Florian, there's no "I wonder if they're on the disruptive build or the aggressive numbers build"
(nor should there ever be, because Felling is a messed up card)
Imagine if Cadaverous Tilling was a 6 that came in for 9 when you decomposed, but Felling was always a 3 for 6 and decomposing only gave you the disruption effect. There might be an actual decision to be made between those two versions of the cards, but there is no competition to actual Felling
The best majestic cards are too powerful. There is no real decision to be made when you're building an Earth hero and decide to put Felling of the Crown in your deck. No other decompose card comes close to competing with it on any axis.
It's been a minute since I've written for the @rathetimes.bsky.social, but it feels good getting back to it. Super Slam Kayo is really sweet

Monarch 3.0 better be lit
Block 2 draw 2, don't mind if I do #fabtcg
I think RKO would still win in a straight up nickname fight, but Cheato/Cheeto being synonymous with that piece of shit is some straight up..
