tbh i have met many agreeable and chill old people too, so i don't think all old people are stubborn as hell. but i do think if you're a stubborn person you're probably going to get more set in your ways with age

my neighbor is like this. for the 1st time ever today he asked me to help him walk to his door. i said don't get mad at me, but: get a cane... im happy to help but not always around. there's a point where being stubborn about this hurts their quality of life more than using a cane is "embarrassing"
