He’s comically bad at pull-ups too.

Unspeakable evil.

As you point out, the majority of actual voters agree with you. So find them and organize.

You speak of the DNC as if it’s some monster in the hills. It’s not. Figure out who is a strong leader for the Dem coalition who has hope of winning a majority and lobby your representatives. Even better, get active in your local party. Organize with like minded individuals. MAKE them do better.

I agree that Dems should have done more.

But the choice is between a politician who should have done more and one who wants to wipe out a civilization and build a resort on top of their bones. If you actually want to save lives, which is better? There is no third choice.

I get the frustration and sorrow with something that is so obviously wrong. But to me Dem politicians are just another barrier to justice. I support them because they are a weaker barrier than Reps. I want justice and the shortest distance to that goes through the Democratic coalition.

I can’t speak to why they made those choices or defend them. Party leaders can be removed if enough reps vote them out. Figure out who you like better who has a shot and organize accordingly.

It also doesn’t matter much if Dems don’t have the majority after midterms.

I think it had more to do with old school Democratic ties to Israel than appeasing swing voters.

I vote for the politicians l think can be pressured on issues I care about. On Palestine, Harris could be pressured. Trump could not. Sometimes we have to make them do the right thing. Ask King and LBJ

My take was two-fold. First, conservative neocons had already lost to MAGA. And second, she was not willing to endorse insurrection. She had already lost the internal power struggle and it wasn’t worth it to her to endorse insurrection and eat MAGA chit with a smile to stay in power.

Linkity-link?

It actually IS your job to provide a link that backs up a statement you made. And the fact that you are melting down while still not providing any proof just shows that you made it up. Have a nice day!

Y’all kill me šŸ˜‚ byeeeee

So no link? I figured as much.

Like what? Use your words.

Bzzzttt.. Thought terminating cliche. Do not pass go. Do not collect $100.

Try again with an actual thought that contributes to intelligent debate.

Or sorry, I thought you were the other guy. Still waiting on a link….

But are they actual people or are they trolls attempting to sow discord? There are a certain number of leftists who are going to bag on the Democrats no matter who we run, but they are usually smarter than this lot.

So people are saying it was Liz Cheney’s brother or someone with Amazon who made Walz stop calling Republicans weird. Mkay šŸ˜‚

Ok but can you post a link showing Harris promoted far right policies where she said Trump was weak on illegal immigration and military?

Criticizing Trump’s handling of immigration and the military does not = RW. I think we all agree he has been a disaster on both of those issues.

Dunno. Not Liz Cheney. I think that an ultra-conservative who was so shocked by the events of January 6th that she left the party and endorsed the Democratic nominee probably didn't object to anyone calling them much of anything.

I too think it shouldn’t have been that hard to call out genocide or at the very least, acknowledge the suffering of the Palestinian people. But I also know that Harris and her group were going to be 1000% better than Trump. And Netanyahu would not have been able to convince Harris to bomb Iran.

Link? She said that Trump did nothing to fix our immigration system. I’m not even sure what you could be referring to regarding the military.

I do not think Liz Cheney told Kamala Harris to stop calling the right weird.

16 hours ago 1 0 1 0

That’s insane. Cheney voted with Trump 97% of the time before she was radicalized by January 6th and essentially left the party. Kamala Harris never voted with the GOP on any significant legislation.

He didn’t think citizens would protect their communities against his armed militias and he was wrong. He didn’t think the Iranian government would defend themselves against annihilation by weaponizing the Straight of Hormuz and he was wrong. He does not learn.

The Supreme Court should have ruled excessive partisan gerrymandering unconstitutional, but nah.… Another sin to add to John Roberts’ list, along with money is speech and corporations are people.

He’s going to finish completely undoing Voting Rights next.

Which is kinda how it worked in agricultural communities, back in the day. But not an economically viable system anymore.

Many non-Christians families would also love to be able to live on a single income, but without unions, Medicare for all and a plan to build massive amounts of affordable housing subsidized by our tax dollars, all things Republicans hate, its impossible. Hawley is a joke.

Insane. He doesn’t say one word about how he plans to create an economy where a family can live on one salary. Affordable housing and healthcare do not exist in this country. Medicare for all and serious affordable housing incentives from the government would help, but those are ā€œcommunistā€œ šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

Statistics show that you get better results if you begin by finding common ground. Given that is the case, I prefer to use a persuasion model rather than an educational model when I am canvassing. What have you found to be most effective?

1 day ago 1 0 0 0

It’s funny that I’m not being persuasive with you. what I should have said was I understand stand your frustration with voters who rely on misinformation and prejudice to for political opinions. I am also frustrated. But studies show that trying to educate these voters with facts is ineffective.
