This property is interesting! I believe a company owns enough units to have a controlling interest. Probably has a negative impact on the sales price, given buyers have little to no say in how the property is managed. (Source is an old listing that said as much)

A rendering of 10 World Trade office building highlighting the reflection of the sun off its glass curtain wall.
Ooof, not quite what the renderings promised!
Any idea how much battery capacity (roughly) you would need to have made it through the night running only on stored power?
Trying to make sense of this: If we had built nothing, would the median be 72? And if we doubled the number of units built, would the median drop significantly?
This group in Boston is doing something similar: laminarcollective.com. I’m working with them and also getting quotes from the big PE-owned shops. The big companies are essentially taking the entire $10k rebate in their price.
If you’re adding HVAC as a standalone project how would you go about this? Are there HVAC firms in Boston that do good design work? I spoke with a salesperson from a company in the Sila empire and was spec’d a unit that would short-cycle…😣
Have you seen these folks? Not sure if this qualifies as mass produced, but seems better economics than handmade: www.monumentallabs.co/architecture
What paid features give you the most benefit?
The Transit app has a paid tier which I wouldn’t expect to see on MBTA Go.
Interesting! I’m looking to do a residential install on a flat roof and the proposal was for fully ballasted. I assumed this was because it would be easier for the installer. Are the two approaches interchangeable or do you look to do one more than the other?
Why aren’t they more evenly distributed? I would expect more of a grid layout.
Some kind of penetrations for venting/intake?
Thank you! I had only seen the AARP form and look forward to reading through the other material you shared!
I’ve found this site helpful for searching starter packs by topic: blueskydirectory.com/starter-pack...
Slide with detail of three affordable housing developments that lays out project costs and subsidies.
What makes it cost so much more? There’s a local project going up at $778,000 per unit in my Boston suburb. (Land was $3.7M…~10% of total)
Any feedback on how they’ve been from a maintenance perspective? These are rental units so I’m a bit skittish about frequent maintenance calls.
Is this SANCO2 approach effective in a smaller (3 unit) building? I’m electrifying a triple-decker and have heard negative reviews about durability of retail HPWHs like Rheem.
Do you have any info about approximate cost and time to deploy?
Thanks! Have you seen anything about weight vs road wear that impacts the municipal budget?
I’ve been trying to find info about road wear and vehicle weight to drive decision-making for my community. Any good studies or summaries you know that would appeal to technical decision-makers?
