A drawing done in pencil and black marker, a character based on children's suggestions. It's a giraffe with the head of a capybara with long spikes of hair. There is also a goldfish bowl on its head. It has very wonky legs and big, clown-like shoes. It's wearing a woolly jumper and a bow tie. There are a strawberry and a chocolate bar hanging on a string in front of it. The suggestions are written in pencil down the side of the picture.

It's a crocodile standing upright, dressed in trousers, a big woolly jumper, a furry shawl and it has a cat's collar with a bell. Its brain is huge, bulging out of its head. It's holding a kettle in its right hand and and a tin whistle in its left. The suggestions are written in pencil down the side of the picture.

Here's the two drawings I did based on the children's suggestions today in Navan Educate Together, where they were celebrating the opening of their new school library on #WorldBookDay.

As I told the kids, if these are weird, it's their fault.
