The National Housing Demo today, starting in Soho Square. It was only when we marched along Oxford Street that size of the demo could be seen. A really impressive turnout. I hope this is a trigger for more cooperation between housing campaigns and real pressure on policy-makers.
On Wednesday this week, Right To Grow Tower Hamlets are having an evening of conversation & film: a series of shorts, exploring land and food justice, past and present from across the world. There will be light snacks

Sorry about yet another batch of photos of sunsets over the City of London. It looked pretty spectacular to the naked eye, not sure if the photos have really captured it. But here you go anyway...

A belated Happy New Year!
Wishing you all a happy and co-operative 2026
The mystery block is Canary Wharf Premier Inn (although it's location is actually Westferry)
From Glenkerry today
- radio transmitter and / or receiver thingy
- I realised I don't know what this block is... I'll find out
- another pic of Canary Wharf with the trees out of the way
How things have changed. Including the resolution of digital cameras
These were taken in 2006
Thanks to some brutal pollarding this morning, those of us on the lower decks have a rare clear view towards Canary Wharf
I'll dig out an old photo later and to a before / after of the skyline. There have been some big changes in the past 30 years
Yet another sunset photo
A few more from my latest film roll...
I've been putting together maps showing the history of the Brownfield Estate. Not much (if anything) pre-war survives. But the adjoining Teviot Estate still has some dotted around.
More bus depot dev from this morning...
We will celebrate 48 years of the shop this year, thank all of you who have made this possible.
