Ruby enters his Grandpa Richie's house/repair store with Cal in tow. He says "Hi Grandpa! I brought Calli-" but is cut off by Richie saying, "A new pair of runners?" Richie's magic activates as reality warps around them. Ruby enters his Grandpa Richie's house/repair store with a new pair of runners for his grandpa! Richie says, "Thanks kiddo, my old pair is just about to give out on me..." To which Ruby replies, "Y-You're welcome..?" Under his breath he mumbles, "I feel like I'm forgetting something..." Meanwhile, Cal has been turned into a comfortable new pair of footwear for Richie.
Richie sits on the couch, getting ready to head out by slipping on his New Balances with a shoehorn, which have gotten a bit dirty since getting them from his grandson Ruby. He says, "This makes day fifty, I think... You've been broken in pretty well, heheh. Might be awhile 'til Ruby visits again you know..." Meanwhile his shoes, or rather Cal, is completely flustered, the imprint of Richie's bare paws stamped onto her very being.
