The idea that bright, wild color is something you outgrow is a damaging lie society tells us. This unspoken rule, that enjoying intense, clashing colors makes you childish, is pure bullshit. The depression palette trend has only gotten worse because it saves corpos money. We gotta end it.

is there any advice for thinking of new poses to draw that doesnt involve tracing over the irl pic of the pose

its sad though im a bit averse to updating my simplyplural infos because of this but some things are screaming to be updated

so when i do the import i'll have to figure out an alternative

i might just paste the plain image link cuz the images are self hosted at least

and also i've had ALL my stuff on simplyplural since 2022, there is so much stuff detailed or not and i was still working on them while accommodating new splits. iirc octocon doesnt have markdown image embedding which i used to show refs for some alters and their own galleries for userboxes etc

ive been setting up the octocon account in advance but i think i'll import everything if/when the servers are announced to close. if i import now it will absolutely be outdated by the time its announced and i'll have to export and import again which is a whole process

finding out simplyplural is discontinuing with the risk of servers closing in the near future is A Bit awkward as a polyfrag sys 😭😭 the alternatives dont even live up to it im sad

You can use winget export to export installed apps to a json file, save the file somewhere and copy back after resetting, and then import with winget to reinstall them
I forgot the actual command name but it's something like export/import
