I can’t recommend this book enough. Get yourself and/or someone/everyone you know a great present and jump on this.

Last Year we were in the US to to see my family for Christmas, and at Target on the 26th there was a young woman in front of us at the checkout buying nothing but condoms, lube, protein bars, and Gatorade, and I have so much respect for her and hope she’s have a great holiday again this year.

I think the fundamental gap here is that non-creative people think that creative people make things for the end product, when in fact it’s the act of creation and not the end point that makes it worthwhile.
