Ahh! I always wondered where the pesky front section of the delt goes to. The mass is actually the pectoralis major unfolding

Making use of the hand placed scales of this chameleon model I made in @substance3dart Modeler. So satisfying to start playing with curvature maps and cavities in Painter to separate out all thise manually placed details.

Still very early days and more to come.

You should also try the Go Z to desktop so you can transfer your model between ipad and desktop, which to me is such an awesome and convenient thing. And thank you for your kind words! I appreciate that 🙏

Yes you can. Just hit the import button on the upper left and select on the ‘Brushes’ category. And thank you! 🙏

Having fun with Adobe Illustrator (I’m a noob). I can’t wait to share some results from some of my experiments incorporating Illustrator in my 3D work.

I love that Arzach piece! The paint work is awesome and kudos the the artist who sculpted it. I need to google if it can be purchased anywhere.

Hey Alec! Yeah, Im definitely a fan of stretching the base Facs shapes to play as nice as they can with each other before even thinking about doing any correctives

I’ll definitely tackle that and you mentioning is something I appreciate as this realm is where I really have fun in. But yes! Structure and nuance is going to be a big theme in what I plan to cover.

All you mentioned above regarding the struggles and the state of the industry is one of the biggest reasons I want to go as active as I plan to. I’ve been lucky enough to have a sustained career for more than 20 years and I want to use that knowledge to help guide someone looking to get a break…

And yeah, I would like to make those videos available to the public. That’s something people would have to be cool about. I plan to have group gatherings where we all talk shop and I can do live feedback sessions

In past workshops and classes I’ve conducted, sculpt-over videos where I narrate worked the best for both me and the person I was giving feedback to. It also takes less time and confusion than doing draw-overs or typing stuff up trying to describe nuances and shifts of form for example

Thank you! Teaching is something I really care about so I’m very fortunate that my new role at work champions that. Those are awesome ideas. I definitely have something similar planned re:challenges. I also intend to do sculpt-over feedback as part of the mentorship.
