Haikus and macaroni art are probably just an activity that not a ton of time is spent on. Cursive takes significant time and practice to learn. I am not sure that’s the best use of school time.

Being critical is one thing. Showing contempt is extremely different.

Good point. IMO they do tend to be very negative people and I try to avoid those people. I do like someone that doesn’t like sometime I do and can learn from them. When it turns to contempt then I am out. I don’t have time for those people.

Because those people confuse personal preference with good vs bad. They think everything should be designed for them.

Don’t listen to anyone that had contempt for any particular game or dice system.

I have thought about starting a new game and letting the players pick their species first then build the world with those as the dominate species.

Too many systems and not enough time.

I get it. I like a lot of the new systems but D&D (5e in particular) just feels comfortable.
