Wait, was it a WH in Athens, or was Jesus here doing a set at the 40 Watt?

Did you remember to put out the lawn chairs though? You can’t claim dibs without the lawn chairs.

EMILY DICKINSON, JEDI KNIGHT

Not so clumsy, nor so random -
As a blaster - in its rage

More elegant - the weapon
More civilized - the age

When a TV guest goes the predictable route of claiming they're "paid protestors," hosts must immediately ask if they have any proof.

When they sputter that they're guessing, ask if *they* were paid to come on TV and lie about it.

No? You're offended by that? Gosh, I'm just guessing here like you.

Men who look upon themselves born to reign, and others to obey, soon grow insolent; selected from the rest of mankind their minds are early poisoned by importance; and the world they act in differs so materially from the world at large, that they have but little opportunity of knowing its true interests, and when they succeed to the government are frequently the most ignorant and unfit of any throughout the dominions.

For better or worse, public figures are judged when they die — their character, contributions, beliefs. It's undeniable that millions have mourned Rob Reiner's tragic death, celebrating his talent and contributions. I suspect when a certain public figure kicks the bucket, sentiments wont be the same

One of our cats is such a fan, she makes biscuits and drools when I rub her belly. The other grabs my hand and starts to groom it in a way that suggests nibbling will be the next step.

The vote wouldn’t have been so lopsided if it had come earlier. GOP cowards finally became slightly more afraid of voters than of Trump.

It all would have been much easier if, as would have happened if we were remotely a serious country, it all ended with the Access Hollywood interview.

Given the current occupant of the WH, aren’t we already in the Year(s) of the Depend Adult Undergarment?

I'm thinking today of all my fellow veterans but especially the more than 5,000 trans service members and their families who were kicked out of the military this year despite being highly qualified and serving honorably. This injustice will be a stain on our nation's history.

Oil is the most Lovecraftian thing that actually exists. You're telling me that there's a black ichor under the earth, made from the ancient dead, whose burning can realize all the dreams of man but only at the price of slowly returning the earth to its primordial state?

The first time the Confederate flag ever paraded through the US Capitol was on January 6, 2021.

The first time the White House was damaged in over 200 years since the US rebuilt in the 1820s after the British burned it in the war of 1812 was mid October, 2025.

I'm not a West Wing obsessed lib or anything but the more I see pictures of this the more fucked up I think it is. It's like he cut off one of the hands of the Lincoln memorial with an angle grinder so he could add a big gun to it.

We built a calculator that doesn't work, but don't worry, it's also a plagiarism machine that will tell you to kill yourself. It runs on the world's oceans and costs 10 trillion dollars.
