Inflated World Cup ticket prices indicate a disrespect for ‘ordinary’ fans. Corporations and FIFA sponsors can outbid individuals. Then empty seats, wherein hospitality is more distracting than the football. Those empty seats will inevitably affect the media spectacle, a major talking point in 2026.
