Labour's swing toward racism is perhaps the biggest unforced error in British political history; burnt their base to ashes and won them not a single vote on the right.
What else is there to say but: these people were warned and warned and warned again about this, going back well over ten years and further, and their constant response was: absolutely fuck you, you are all idiots and we are the smart, Sensible people whom understand what the public like and want.
Worth noting that even if Labour and the Greens had split the vote exactly evenly – the absolute worst case scenario for the stop Reform majority in the seat – Matt Goodwin still didn’t have enough votes to sneak a victory.
