you know i'm a loser because about 15 years ago i created my own Criterion cover art for Chasin Amy so that it'd match the rest of my collection, which only consists of releases with the modern Criterion design template

I think the resistance-lib-brained thing I hold onto the most is shock that everyone isn't up in arms about this. He's making the government *he runs* give him *billions of dollars* of *our* money!

you gotta be careful about putting this out into the world or they'll change the font size on you. Marvel kept the same omnibus spine design for like 25 years and then betrayed us all

If Democrats in congress agree with you, why are they talking about the 25th, which is harder than impeachment and requires the buy-in of Trump's hand-picked cabinet? Why wouldn't they try for the more expedient route?

It's one of the most third episodes of any campaign ever! What are you waiting for??

the thing about the 25th is that, like impeachment, it also requires a 2/3rds vote in the senate and the house plus the cabinet vote. It's a way higher bar to clear than impeachment, but it shifts responsibility to Trump's cabinet and away from congress. Only reason they're talking about it.

Anecdotal, but all the houses I drive by in Jersey with insane Trump displays have shifted over to 250th signs, and I wonder if that's providing an offramp, so once the Semiquincentennial is over the Trump signs won't go back up

And the woman did speak unto the hound, saying, What do you mean, normal men, and the hound answered the woman, saying, We are just innocent men. And great was her emotion

There was another game like a week after this where the Sox got back-to-back grand slams on the Yankees. Great year to prove ‘04 wasn’t a fluke

It’s important to remember the Sox won the World Series that year

Not dunking on Zack or this post, I’m just always struck by how easily American journalists will admit that the media shapes public polling and political outcomes when they’re not talking about America.
