Posting for the first time in months to say that my third book, "Dinosaurus: A Prehistoric Dictionary" was published yesterday.
Buy it for your friends who like Palaeo stuff but aren't degree-holding experts in Palaeo stuff. Then maybe they can understand what you do.

In workshops recently I showed the kiddos loads of fossils and whenever guessing what they were they said Megalodon. Even for the dinosaur femur. End of the session I pulled out a Megalodon tooth and none of them guessed it correctly. Twice that happened.

It's never too early to check out potential universities for your kid.
