I decided to draw my Hive scum character (darktide warhammer 40k), hopefully I could finish before they drop next dlc.
I changed up the composition while detailing the face, it feels a bit bettter.

"Kryllith are large, bipedal humanoids that possess a great deal of large ostioderm-like structures across their bodies, giving them a similar appearance to that of the exoskeletons or crustaceans of insects. However as far is commonly known they have more in common with mammals or reptiles than arthropods. They have a digitigrade leg structure, which end in clawed feet, as well as arms that end in five digit hands, often having claws on their fingers as well. In addition to their clawed limbs, they possess strong jaws and sharp teeth designed for tearing flesh. The carapace-like structures over most of their heads as well, even over their eyes, sometimes forming head crests or horns. It was once believed the Kryllith did not have eyes, but it turns out that the carapace growth over where the eyes lay acts like sort of a one-way see through visor, with vent openings to avoid the clouding of their vision through fogging up inside of the visor."

Also I decided to change the partner to be more ambiguous for my own sake.

The woman used to pray countless days for a child she could love and care for. One evening a lonely creature of the night heard them. The little monster had some memories of the mother figure in her former life. However many years had passed since then, and the girl could recall only few tender moments, although maybe they were dreams and fantasies, all mixed up together, leaving a gaping crater in her unbeating heart. The girl felt an aching longing again. Perhaps that time she could relive the things that had been stolen long ago. In the picture a vampire girl is hugged by a charmed victim, a mother figure. They are lying in the bed, partly covered in blanket. The woman is sleeping, she has puncture wounds on her arm. The child is trying to recall her past life with her mother. Besides them is another victim, their face is covered by a bed hanging. A bloody small hand print could be seen over it.

Added color and some lighting.
Mostly finished detailing Ogryn (the center), maybe I'll add some tattoos later on.
Working on Plague ogryn atm (monster on the left). He should be covered with more blood and rotten flesh. And maggots. Lots of maggots.
