Practically what this means, is that if you put the same filament in one nozzle and get one result, you take that same filament and put it in the nozzle with the Bowden extruder and the print quality is going to look noticeably different. Who wants to tune 2 different profiles for the same printer?

Like, Bowden extruders were all the rage on cheap printers like 10-15 years ago, but this is the company that seems to consider themselves the Apple of 3dp. Truly, just a baffling decision.

So BambuLab released the successor to the X1 Carbon,the X2D. From the little I've seen, it's got some good upgrades but it does have some oddities. Namely the fact that it's got 2 kinds of extruders on it. Who the fuck thought putting a Bowden extruder on a premium printer in 2026 was a good idea?

so let me get this straight, y'all are plainly shilling an overcooked snapchat filter that also required 2 5090's to run the stage demos. i cannot write an insult strong enough to express my disappointment in you.
