It's been fun adding color to the outside areas in the game. Place looks comfy as can be, at least for the time being.
Kind of want to put some plants on the riverside area of it.

The biggest thing I'd tell anyone building a game right now: wishlists don't equal sales, and the launch day crowd is a completely different beast from the people who followed you during development. I learned that the hard way.

The people who did play it though, some of them really connected with it. A couple of messages I got genuinely made me emotional and I'm holding on to them for my dear life and to avoid losing motivation.

That part is what gets me. It wasn't a game that came out of nowhere. There was real interest before release. But when the day actually arrived, it just.. didn't convert. And sitting with that silence was something I wasn't prepared for.
