I'm thrilled to have this in audio form! Thank you @michaeljdeluca.bsky.social for reading this so beautifully.
Now that I think about it, there was absolutely a pro-ceratopsian bias to my childhood dinosaur play.
Note: “other” includes responses of archaeopteryx, spinosaurus, plesiosaur, ankylosaurus, allosaurus, parasaurolophus, dilophosaurus, diplodocus, iguanadon, and pachycephalosaurus, as well as responses of “other.” We know pterodactyls and plesiosaurs aren’t dinosaurs.
My wife believes that me and my daughter are singlehandedly responsible for this note:

Thinking about happy accidents of measurement that end up yielding perfection: The 25 1/2 inch scale length of the Fender guitar, the 90 foot distance between baseball bases. Seemingly no explicit reasoning behind the choices, but the results ideal.
Congrats! Excited to read.
Getting a bunch of people out to join us at a White Sox game is a beautiful pastoral lesson in sharing the suffering of others and visiting the afflicted.
Of other characters, I find Maedhros one of the most tragic and psychologically interesting in the legendarium.
