Naja.

The exaltation as well are the performance of violence are what distinguishes the American right from its European counterparts. Across the pond, reactionary politics strike me more as an elite retreat from the principles of the Enlightenment, at least in the current incarnation of said politics.
Of the church in Wittenberg, Germany, preferably.
“The first Africanists (specialists who study African languages, societies, and history) were not colonial researchers, as is often assumed, but African intellectuals who were actively engaged in the production of knowledge about their own societies.”

That's nothing. Putin will have resigned by then so the State Duma can proclaim me Russian Czar.
Immer die gleichen Klischees…..
Everything is awesome....
Campaigning on corruption is one thing; arguing SCOTUS should resign En Masse? I'd be pleasantly surprised if Schumer, Jeffries, and the political culture they represent, would work themselves up to that.
I'll believe it when I see it. Far likelier Democratic leaders call any such move a distraction from the price of eggs and other kitchen-table issues, winning back Joe Rogan listeners, keeping Chinese EVs out of the US market, restoring American Global Leadership and so on and so forth....
It’s fascinating you should say that. My father, who was no political scientist, saw the age line coming, back in the 1980s - and even thought of writing a vaguely sci-fi'ish novel set in the then "near future" on what he thought would be the political conflict of the age.
Folks were right when they said China would become the first electrostate while the U.S. would be the last petrolstate. 🇨🇳
N’est pas La Force Tranquille qui veut….
Keep talking.
In CDMX?
As it should.
I wouldn’t bother prosecuting this pathetic little man when the time comes. Save the energy for ICE goons and for the big fish - and let him crawl back under the stone he came from.

There’s a lot that is horrible and stupid about the war with Iran but if Donald Trump’s misbegotten military adventurism accelerates the green transition it will be deeply, deeply funny.

This article is essential & persuasive.
“It is time to stop coddling Detroit automakers and accept that “tariff” is not, as President Trump would say, “the most beautiful word in the dictionary,” by opening the American market to cars made in China and elsewhere.”

What’s there to say, really?
This is a big part of why I'm so critical of U.S. automakers, especially non-legacy, and Japanese, and some European automakers.
Who else is doing this outside of China? Cogently plotting long term strategy and executing (especially NA mkt)? Ford's fumbling, GM killed bolt/no HEV, VW no EV/HEV, etc
Honestly, I'm beginning to have doubts we'll still be one nation by 2050.
I've always known about him, but never saw him play, sadly.
